Overview:

One of the most important factors for good function lighting designs is the resulted accuracy of our perception of the surroundings. Visual comfort is considered an essential parameter for the procees of the human perception of litened surroundings. And while it is one of the most difficult target to achieve, still, we shall analyze and explore the factors of visual discomfort to reduce them. The Luminance is the only photometric measure that is directly related to the illuminance on the retina and therefore most closely related to the human visual perception of brightness, we shall therefore explore too its role in lighting design process and in different specifications.
